Founded in 1979 by six visionary psychiatrists, the Indo-American Psychiatric Association (IAPA) promotes professional excellence, collaboration, and community among psychiatrists of Indian heritage.

From a small professional forum, IAPA has grown into a nationally recognized organization uniting mental health professionals across the United States.

Annual Meeting & Reception

Scientific Meeting (Virtual)

Date/ Day: May 2nd, Saturday
Time: 2:00-5:00 PM
Venue: Virtual
An interactive, educational session for faculty, trainees and students to engage in meaningful discussions through oral presentations by selected poster presentation candidates.
This will be followed by the Annual Business meeting sharing key organizational updates.

Venue: The Hibernia, 1 Jones St, San Francisco, CA 94102.
An interactive session for faculty, trainees and students to engage in meaningful discussions through presentations, panels and a mentorship session.
Attendees have the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge research, receive feedback, & build valuable connections.

Awards Reception & Banquet Dinner

The evening’s program highlights a networking hour, key organizational updates, formal announcement of award recipients and an elegant Indian dinner.
